- To the best of my knowledge, at the date of purchase, the dog or puppy is in good health. Any known problems or potential problems or concerns will be in writing and signed by me the breeder/seller .Puppy or dog must be checked by a vet within 72 hours after you receive it. (Schedule your appointment before the puppy is picked up), If any problem is found you must notify me, the breeder, within 2 days and provide the vets name, address and phone number. Hernias, undecended testicles and uneven bites happen on occassion and are not to be considered reasons to be found unfit for a pet.
- The dog or puppy is guaranteed for 1 year from birth against life threatening defects. If the puppy or dog is found to have a life threatening defect, the puppy or dog will be replaced with another of the breeders choosing, when one becomes available. I will contact your vet concerning the defect, if your vet and my vet agree that the puppy will not be a suitable pet, the replacement will be given.
- Pets must be spayed or neutered as soon as your vet recommends. Pet puppies are sold with an AKC limited registration application. With an AKC limited registration, your dog may take part in any of the AKC events except conformation. If a dog is already AKC named and registered, the papers will be withheld until the dog is spayed, neutered. The dog/puppy may not be bred with or with out AKC or other dog registration papers. The dog or puppy may be registered with The United Kennel Club if you wish to enter any of their events, however the no breeding rule and the spay/ neuter agreement is still in effect..
- Conformation show puppies will come with a full AKC registration. They must recieve a minimal of 5 pts in AKC shows before you may breed them. Breeding may not take place before their second heat cycle or the age of 18 months. If a co-own or puppyback agreement is entered it will be under a separate contract.
- In the event of a dispute, the breeder/seller home town and state of Pennsylvania will have jurisdiction.
- The breeder/seller can not guarantee the puppy adult size, coat, bite or ear set.
- If any part of this contract/agreement is broken, the buyer, new owner agrees to pay $2000 per incident or puppy born and agrees to pay any court costs and all legal fees, incurred by me, the breeder/ seller.
